Sabor a Mexico: Best tortas (carne asada) and best al pastor taco you've ever had. Authentic and delicious.
La Tejana: The other best Mexican restaurant. Everything on the menu is good but the highlights are: the beef soup; tacos: carnitas, chicken tinga, goat, and campechano (a combo of chorizo and carne asada)
Taco Buddha: Best breakfast tacos ever. Menu changes weekly and the lunch and dinner menus are like an improved Mission Taco.
India Palace: Best Indian restaurant in STL by far
Sameem: Chicken Karahi
La Pizza: NYC style pizza.
Mac's Local Eats: Smash burgers made with dry aged beef.
Gus's Fried Chicken: Hot chicken.
Bolyard's: A butcher shop that smokes meats on Thursdays. They also serve sandwiches.
Paul Manno's: Best Italian food in STL.
Kounter Kulture: Excellent restaurant that mainly revolves around take out and some small outdoor tables. They have an amazing Thai soup called Khao Soi.
Blues City Deli
Sister Cities: Very nice Cajun restaurant down South Broadway.
Private Kitchen: Best Chinese restaurant. You have to call in and order your food 1-2 days in advance (2 if you want Peking duck and you do). The soup dumplings are a must.
